Little Mishaps

Last night, no sooner did my husband walk out the door for graveyard, did my son pull a package of crackers out of the cupboard crushing them with his little hands and then spill them all over the kitchen floor! I was already cleaning up a lasagna covered high chair as Leah cried from her crib. But, I got that cleaned up. Then only moments later as I quickly vaccumed the pieces of paper dust my husband left a trail of on the carpet, the vaccume cord happened to drag across the counter tipping over a can of pop, spilling it all over the kitchen floor! Auugghhhh! It always happens in 2's!

A "borrowed" toy

I recently found that Drew had taken a toy from one of our neighbors homes. She was not eager to admit it, but finally gave in. I let her know that it was not okay to take anything from someones else's house, and she said, "But they think it's lost, they don't care!" I reminded her that regardless, it was not hers to keep. So, I got the babies in the stroller and she rode her bike alongside of me as we made our way down to the neighbors house to return the toy. I made her go up to the door, and knock all by herself. She tried to make me go with her, but I said, "NO, I will wait for you, but you have to do it alone." I told her she needed to let them know that she was sorry, and give it back. She did just that. Once the Mom answered the door, Drew handed back the toy, "Here, this is yours...I'm sorry." The Mom looked a little confused, but soon realized Drew had "borrowed" it from her house, and smiled at her, saying "Well, thank you for bringing it back." Drew was so scared that the lady would be mad at her, so she smiled so big when she didn't. On the way home I let her know how brave she was, and told her how proud of her I was. I let her choose a treat, she chose a gumball. And, she said, "I'm glad I gave it back Mom." I must be doing something right!

And he sleeps by the light of a Jet Plane..

This is an adorable Jet Plane night light I came across at Gottschalks of all places! The boy just came unglued at the sight of it! It has alot less light than his current fishy night light, so as to help him adjust to sleeping with less light for Sissy to transfer to her crib soon (they share a room)...wishful thinking, I guess. In any case, you have to admit, it is adorable!

Kids...

Beau has taken to watching Teletubbies day and night! He has even figured out how to turn on the VCR, and TV to start it himself. He has memorized which tape is the right one as well. This obsession with watching TV has evolved over the past week. One day, all of the sudden, he realized it was there! And, then realized there was this cupboard with all of these movies for his pleasure. HA! I'm gonna have to get a lock for the cupboard with the VCR in it before he breaks it by shoving his movie in by himself.

♥♥♥♥♥

Drew is still learning how certain words actually are meant to be said after hearing them said by someone else. Heather likes to jog. Drew has rode her bike along side her a few times, but she decided she wants to "go jugging with Heather". She knows now that it is jogging , not "jugging". Tonight I asked her why she thought it was "jugging", she said, "YOU KNOW! I just thought it was like the circus, those people that throw things in the air, you know, juggin'???" I had to laugh! This made her horribly angry. That girl has got a terrible temper! If she thinks you are making fun of her, you may as well go hide for a few days before she clobbers ya!

♥♥♥♥♥

Grace recently earned back her friend priveledges and wanted to play this evening, and so her friend came to the door, asked me if Grace could go on a bike ride, and the next thing I know, Gracie's head is poking up from hiding under the kitchen window outside! The little stinker was having her friend ask instead of herself! Her quick response, "Well, she wanted to ask you!"

My BEAUtiful Boy

Oh, my Beau Michael Joseph. He is all boy! We took another walk today, and this time we came across a snake, not alive, but none-the-less caught the eye of my boy. He got down on his hands and knees to inspect it real close. Then, he just laid down right in the middle of the road on his belly and put out his finger as if he were just gonna reach out and touch it! I quick said,"no touch!" He pulled back his hand, but would still not get up. So, he just laid there for awhile longer. Boys... ♥♥♥

My neck is still aching...

I had PT this a.m., and looks like I will have to return for a few more visits to correct this muscle spasm thing going on in my neck. It is actually called 'torticolis'. They are doing some ultrasonic penetration, massage, and applying moist heat. I just can't wait for it to go away!!!

Painful neck saga cont...

I ended up going to the doctor over this. I feel ridiculous, but, it is very painful! She called it torticulus I believe, I may be misquoting her, however, never heard of it myself, but it means the muscles in my neck are in spasm, and I have to have atleast 1 physical therapy session to relieve it. She gave me a prescription for some pain medication to help me get to sleep tonight, sooo, we'll see what comes of this after my physical therapy tomorrow!

What more could go wrong?

Yesterday I started coming down with some sort of sinus/head cold. My head was pounding, nose stuffed up, hard to breath. I could hardly get to sleep last night! Then this morning as I was waking up, I was trying to turn over, and I heard a crack in my neck, and the next thing I knew, I CANNOT MOVE MY HEAD ANYWAY BUT LEFT! It hurts so tremendously much. I cannot find my heat pad, or the icy hot to see if they might provide possible relief, so I took some tylenol, which hasn't yet started to make any difference. I just cannot spend the day like this and take care of 2 babies!

First tooth

Leah cut her first tooth today!
Cry Baby

This is an amazing, gigantic black hornets nest we discovered on a walk down OUR road. It is so intriguing. I cannot believe such small animals created this thing! This picture does not do it justice. It has to be the size of a very large watermelon.

A boy, a real live boy!

This boy is becoming such an amazing person. He is so full of love, laughter, and curiosity. We took another walk today, and he had to push his truck. As we walked, he made multiple stops to fill his little dump truck with rocks. He would not let anyone else pick it up, or push it for him. It made for a very slow walk, but what else are these lazy days for? On the way back, we came across a preying mantis, and it looked like it had been runover, but was alive, and trying to get up off the ground, he layed down on his belly in the middle of the road to inspect that bug! It was so cute. My first instince was to say, "Handsome, get up!" But, the more I thought about it, I decided, "Hey, he's a boy! Let that boy get dirty, let that boy lay down and look at a bug on the road! He's only this little for a little while!" I just love all these little boy happenings. Nothing compares with a girl. I am so greatful for this one and only boy!

Future Soccer Star

Drew had her first soccer game today. She looked so big in her little AYSO uniform. It was so cute watching those little kids, ages 4-5, running around the field, repeatedly going off the field and having to throw the ball back in. She did very well for her first time. I was worried she might chicken out, but she hung in there, and took right to it. I am so anxious to see the difference in her skills by the end of the season!

Sand, Sun, Swing, and Slide

Today was such an absolutely beautiful day. I decided to pick Drew up from Kindergarten, get some lunch, and go to the park last minute, so I called her school on my way home from having little Leah's photos taken and told them to hold her back for me. I got to the school, and walked in to meet her, boy was she sour faced! She stood up from the chair, and said, "I'm mad at you!" (she wanted to ride the bus) I said, "WHY? I thought we could go to A&W to get lunch, and then go to the park! I just thought of it!"...then, she smiled, and got excited, giggled, "Okay!" So, we did, we got lunch, then headed for the park. I told Handsome in the back seat, "We're gonna go to the park!" He giggled, binky in mouth, and started clapping his hands. So adorable!
When we got to the park, we took our food to a picnic table, but no sooner did we sit to eat it, there were bee's all over! They just started landing on Drew's food, and so we ate little and had to get up and go! I took them all over to the swings, and they played. There was another little boy there, so Beau took to following him, and laughing at him. I so wish he had little boys to play with more often. He found some tall ornamental grass and thought it was so funny to hide in it, and then pop out! I wish I'd had my camera with me, but this trip to the park was last minute.
They played in the sand, shoveling it up and flinging it in the air. He loves to shovel things. Anything. Leah just sat on my lap watching it all, taking it in. I can't wait till she can join in with Beau. What fun it will be!
I wish everyday were like today. I just love warm, but not too warm, breezy days. Cool crisp air, but sunshine everywhere! Too bad the rain is soon to come and take it all away!

It's almost Halloween!

I love Halloween! I just do, not sure why, but I love the costumes, the parties, the trick or treating. I used to make the girls halloween costumes every year, but then along came little Beau, and he put a stop to that. Not enough time on my hands. So, this year Drew plans to be "double trouble", a dress that is 1/2 devil, 1/2 angel, she picked the perfect one I tell ya! Beau is gonna be a race car driver, Ha! And, Leah, an adorable rainbow colored caterpillar! Heehee! Grace has not yet figured out her costume. She's getting too old for this stuff. We'll have to get creative with her now!

I just love 'em so!

Every time I look at the faces of my children, I melt. I am the biased party, but they truly are all sooo beautiful. And, they are all so wonderful. I just cannot believe that I took part in creating them. Perfect eyes, perfect lips, perfect little fingers and toes. (well, toes, they look like daddy's, so as perfect as they may be, they aren't so pretty!)
Grace is doing so well in school, and liking it! Drew, as much of a demon as she can be at times, is quite the people pleaser at school, and is scared to death to get into trouble. Beau is just the most even-tempered, adorable, loveable boy I know. And, Leah, well, she is quite the trying infant, but she just loves Mommy, and it shows in every toothless grin she gives me. Her eyes smile right along. She is such a cuddler, it's hard to put her down sometimes.
I do thank God for all he has given me. Including my handsome, faithful, loving Husband. I don't know where I'd be without the people that are in my life. I am truly blessed!

A walk to remember

Beau Michael loves the outside. He will do anything to get out there, even give up his beloved binky! So, after Leah laid down for her morning nap, we took a walk with the puppy. As we came out the front door, I spotted a frog on the bricks, and showed it to Beau. He stood there for awhile just making and "OH!" sound. I took a picture of it for him. He had to bring along his 'CAT' truck Papa gave him, pushing it down the road as I walked beside him. It was slowing us down quite a bit, but he would not let go of it no matter how many times I tried to convince him to set it aside. Once we were half way down the road I spotted a 'teddybear' caterpillar, he freaked out! He went running toward it, as did the puppy. It stopped and curled up as they approached it, but then once they backed away a little it took off heading straight toward Beau. He got scared and started backing up, and let out a little boy scream. It was so cute. Then after her got over that, he ran back up to it and tried to stomp on it! I told him to stop, and that it was not nice. He stopped, and thank goodness he missed it! The rest of the walk he was not too compliant with sticking by Mommy. He just wanted to run rampid. He saw a kitty and took off, but by the time we got there, it had already hidden from us. He stood in front of the house he expected it to be at yelling "meow". Haha! This boy is just so much fun.

What will I do when these baby feet grow up and walk away from me?

Woohoo!

I got a raise! A substantial one at that! Maybe partial cost-of-living, however, I am thrilled! Makes me feel good! I love LTC no matter what, but with working less, this definitely helps!

Why can't I relax?

MY mind feels as if it is overflowing with all there is to do, has been done, has yet to surface for doing, and then some. It feels like it's going to burst! My husband would just tell me, "Your pshyco!" I just wish there was an on/off switch to my brain so I could get some real sleep, and just sit mindlessly watching TV like he does!

Whoa...Mommy's in this picture!

♥Drew♥Mommy♥Leah♥

Venus vs. Mars

WOMAN'S PERFECT BREAKFAST
She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee. Her son is on the cover of the Wheaties box. Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week. Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl. And her husband is on the back of the milk carton.
WOMEN'S REVENGE
"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. "So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied, " but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally." MARRIAGE SEMINAR
While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication, Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor, "It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes." He addressed the man, "Can you name your wife's favorite flower?" Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, "It's Pillsbury, isn't it? His arm cast will come off in about three more weeks.
WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?" "Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."
W O R D S
A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day... 30,000 to a man's 15,000. The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men... The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"
CREATION
A man said to his wife one day, "I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time. " The wife responded, "Allow me to explain. God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me; God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you! WHO DOES WHAT A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee." The husband said, " You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee." Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee." Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me." So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says.........."HEBREWS".........................................
The Silent Treatment
A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 AM." He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up." Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests. God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece.

♥Wish for You♥
From Faith Hill's new CD
"Fireflies"
A setting sun that paints a tie dye sky
A feather bed, an ancient lullabye
A kiss goodnight from one who's love is true
That's the kind of day I wish for you...
*****
A field of flowers dancing in the spring
A little creek, a tree, an old rope swing
Cotton candy clouds against the blue
That's the kind of day I wish for you
*****
The faith of knowing deep inside your heart
That HEAVEN holds more than just some stars
Someone's up there watching over you
That's the kind of day I wish for you
This I dedicate to all of MY CHILDREN,
as well as...
Victims of Hurricane Katrina

A Heart of Gold

My 10 year old daughter has packed one of her old back packs to create a care package for a child affected by Hurricane Katrina . She went around the house this evening finding foods, clothes, crafts, bathing items, and a stuffed toy to add to it. I am in awe. She is amazing. Amazing Grace. So giving, so caring. We washed her back pack, and she is taking it to school tomorrow. WOW! I wish we could do more, but atleast we can do this.

♥Beautiful Dreamer♥

Words and Music By: Stephen C. Foster

Beautiful dreamer,
Wake unto me
Starlight and dewdrops
Are awaiting thee
Sounds of the rude world
Heard in the day
Led by the moonlight
Have all passed away
Beautiful dreamer,
Queen of my song
List' while I woo thee
With soft melody
Gone are the cares of
Life's busy throng
Beautiful dreamer
Awake unto me
Beautiful dreamer,
Awake unto me
For you GG, I you!

I'm a big kid now!

Drew Marie had her 1st day of Kindergarten today!
Backpack

She was so excited, and so was I for her! She said, "I just can't believe I go to school now!" She picked out her outfit, did very well with getting up and ready. We took her photo by the tree this time, and she was so adorable! I took her to school, and when I went to pick her up, she said, "NO, I wanna ride the bus!" So, I declined, gave her a big kiss on the forehead, and went back home to wait for her. She is so big now. Not my little Drew anymore. So Sad!
Sad

Sick babies:(

The babies seem to have come down each with a cold the past few days. It is so maddening trying to keep them calm, comfortable, and cuddled. Leah hates taking medicine, Beau just opens wide. Leah is stuffy, Beau is runny. Leah won't sleep, Beau is sooo tired. Leah eats like crazy, Beau is barely eating at all. Poor guy! I sure hope it passes quickly, and I sure hope I don't come down with it too!

WHO ARE YOU?

Jack came home tonight in the most terrible mood. I have no idea what triggered it, but the first comment from him was, "This is chaos, why isn't the boy in bed, there is no organization!" OK...well, maybe cuz it's only 7:30, not his 8pm bedtime!!! And, maybe, wild guess, he'd like to see Daddy after he's been gone all day!!! The boy has so little exposure to men. Poor thing! Anyway...he was ranting and raving all about the boy being up. He took it upon himself to start making Beau's "bobby", and yelling for him to 'come here!'. I called him back to me to give him a kiss and hug 'nite nite', and Jack got angrier, so I said, "Forget it! I'm doing it! Give me the bottle!"..."I'll put him to bed!"..."NO YOU WON'T, I DON'T WANT YOU TO!" I yelled, and took the boy in and put him to bed with love and kindness. That is my handsome! He is so precious! Niether baby was feeling well today, and how dare he step into this house and start laying blame on ME! Just because I usually have everything under control, can there not ever be any exception to the usual routine? Am I not allowed some disorganization? And, ofcourse the whole thing is my fault, I started it, I was the one being nasty. Right now all I have to say is...

What to do...

I am becoming more and more disenchanted with being the Mother of so many children. I feel great one moment, that all is as it should be, under control, then the next thing I know, ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! Feast or famine, I guess. Although Leah has been much calmer over the past 2 days, Handsome has taken to screaming at just about everything! For instance, he has suddenly decided he should eat fruit snacks every time he comes into the kitchen, and he just stands there screaming! "Handsome...what do you say?"..."eeeeeaaaaase." K, better there. So, each time he returns for another bite...***SCREAM***..."HANDSOME! What do you say?"..."eeeeeeeaaaaaaase."
Drew, well, what more can I say? She's Drew. Drew=extreme hyperactivity+occasional nervous breakdowns+an out of this world metabolism+the strenth of King Kong+a temper so short it belongs in the Guinness book of World Records! Drew is the Power Puff Girls squared! If she ever meets Prince Charming, rather than it being out of the movie 'Sleeping Beauty', it'll be more like 'Taming the Shrew'. That's Drew!
Grace was absolutely beautiful this morning, so cheerful, so pretty, so eager to get back to school. She did her chores as needed, atleast she said she did. But, she never gave the dogs water I found, so I did. Not a problem, but don't say you did, if you didn't. I just don't understand this. An ongoing for the past few years. "Grace, did you...?" Her response, ALWAYS "Yep." Mmmhmm, nope. Just tell me you forgot, tell me you didn't do it yet, BUT please don't lie to my face! So, when she got home from school, still so cheerful, so eager to learn, still SO beautiful, she reared on me like an angry dragon when I asked her, "So, Grace, tell me once again, did you water the dogs this morning?"..."Uh-huh!"..."Are you sure?"..."Well, they already had water." Such a STUPID thing, I know. But, what the? She is truly a great kid. We butt heads, we are soooooo much alike. But, I feel like suddenly she has changed from my Gracie Mae to this pre-teen stranger. Me and my husband spoke to her once again about telling the truth, and NOT back talking as she has been the past few days. She is doing strange, and ridiculous things. I.E. She was on a bike ride with Drew, I was walking the babies, and I saw a car coming, no doubt my girls would get over to the curb, right? I taught them bike safety, HELL, Grace went to Safety Camp! OMG, they stayed right in the middle of the road, did not even make any attempt to swerve over to the curbside. I was in shock. Total and utter disbelief! WHAT DID I DO WRONG? WHAT AM I SEEING? Emotions just boiled inside of me. Should I be angry? Should I say anything? Should they be taken off those bikes? I churned this over and over...and finally decided to talk. "Grace. Where were you on your bike when the car came by?"...no hesitation,"I was all the way over to the edge."...Was I seeing things? Am I going crazy? "Grace, I saw from behind you, your bike was so far into the road the car had to swerve around you."..."Nuh-uh! I was over!"...Really wondering if I'm crazy now..."GRACE! I SAW IT ALL WITH MY OWN EYES! YOU WERE NOT OVER, THE CAR HAD TO SWERVE AROUND YOU!"...anyway...just one example. So, no bike for a few days. SAFETY, bottom line. It's things like this that make me wonder...Am I doing my 'job' right? Is my staying home making a difference in thier lives? I want to cry, but should I? Do I deserve to? This is all my responsibility anyway. My tears most definitely won't wash it all away. I guess all I can do is persevere. One day, I will see the result of my parenting. I just hope I have a smile on my face when I see it.

Back to School

I set my alarm and got up at 6am to shower before babies woke up at 8am since today was the my 10 yr. olds first day of 5th Grade. She goes to an intermediate school, the grades range from 3-5th, then next year she moves on to middle school for 6th grade. Scary! Anyway...it was so nice to be up and awake, no one else awake, just me to enjoy the calm, quiet early morning. I made Gracie's lunch, PB&J on wheat bread, pretzels, and apple, and for early snack: 5 ritz crackers with cheddar cheese squares, and I gave her some money for a milk ticket. To this she complained, "I hate thier milk, it's always expired and you have to throw it away!" My Drama Queen... She got dressed, and I had time to do her hair for her as it was meant to look when we had it cut this last month. She spent 20 minutes figuring out what shoes to wear, one pair she swore made her look fat?! I never knew shoes could do that. She looked so grown up. Not just 10. I didn't like it, but in the same moment, I felt so proud, so impressed with how she has grown. Like every year, I took a picture of her on the porch all ready for the bus. Next week, it will be Drew's turn.
After Grace was off to school I took the boy and Drew for a bike ride while Leah was "napping". We went all the way around the block down Glennwood, then up Primrose, which has a steep hill the girls love to go down, and Mommy could hardly get up the darn thing! My thighs burned something terrible as we went up it. I swear, I wanted to scream! Another reminder of just how out of shape I am! We got up it anyway, and turned the corner to a farm house that has 2 cows, to which the boy screamed in delight. Then I had Drew follow me down Ridgecrest, and I took her down a short path to her school. It's close enough to walk to, and/or ride a bike to, but I would never let her do that unattended by myself or my husband. She was so excited to see that.
After the bike ride, we got home, and the boy emmediately went to the Strawberry strawberry patch in our front yard. He's a strawberry fiend. We found a few, and he ate them all. Then we played out back with the pup, had a snack, took some fun pictures outside. All of this before 11am. WoW! I'm keeping to this 6am wake up call. I can get so much more done!

Just about the babies

Today, we went to my parents house to visit. As soon as the boy walked in the door he was yelling "papa", and I had to tell him Papa was gone. Gone to the Beavers game. Broke his little boy heart♥ So, he played in the sprinkler and ate cookies while we waited for Gma to get home from her saturday shopping spree.
I got him a potty chair today, hoping to try it out soon, given the chance. I am so busy lately. Baby, baby, baby, baby. One or the other at all times. Crazy!
I also got him some matchbox airplanes. He loves 'em! He went around the house this evening throwing airplanes around the room! Heehee. He knows they are supposed to fly, but not in the house against mom's walls! Silly boy. Airplane
Leah had her first Gerber Biter Biscuit tonight. She went to town. Ate 1/2 the thing in no time at all. I was in shock! Maybe this will distract from her booby obsession. This girl will not even drink baby juice. A first! What baby does not like baby juice? Well, Leah. That's the only baby I know to spit out a bottle. I can only imagine what kind of hell it's going to be to wean her when the time comes. This is uncharted territory for me. I only breastfed the older girls for about a month, and the boy 6 and 1/2 months. I'm sure I'll make it farther with little Leah, but with how much she is attached to me vs. the others, I am gonna go through some horrible sleepless nights. *ponder* Actually, my husband will. She will most definitely not take the bottle from me. He'll be the heartbreaker!
Broken Heart

Lovely Leah

How beautiful is this face? How greatful I am to God for creating it. Nothing short of sheer perfection! ♥♥♥

He's always gone

I wake up each morning to a baby cooing beside me, and hear another one screaming from his crib down the hall. The tv on playing cartoons in the living room. And, my husband is most always already gone to work for the day. There is most never a morning I can wake up to my husband sitting on the couch, us chatting. I don't remember when the last time was we made breakfast. Or the last time we both sat down together with our coffee to look through the sunday's paper. I miss him. I miss us. I know time passes quickly, and soon enough these little ones will be grown and then instead of missing him, I'll be missing those babies. But, I never thought life would become so busy that we would not be able to even just sit next to eachother more than a couple hours a week. *sob* I just love him so much!

The Enchanted Forest

Today we went on an a'venture last minute. We took an unplanned trip to The Enchanted Forest. The kids had a blast! Beau 'drove' a bumper boat with Drew. Drew talked me into going on the log ride with her, so I did, and got soaking wet! Those dips and dives that "log" takes are so scary! I swear I screamed louder than and child! Crazy kids rides. Beau was afraid of the tunnels, and caves, so he would not go through the rabbit hole. He just ran and ran, and ran some more. I took him down the shoe slide about 5 times, and he just giggled uncontrollably each time down, begging to go again! I think just going to The Enchanted Forest and walking through the entire thing is a workout. It's all pretty much steep uphill walking, I am SO out of shape! How sad is that? Grace played 'so tough' trying to claim that the Haunted House was "not scary at all!" even though one of our friends boys, 2 years older than her, came out shaking! Ha! I got through the whole thing without buying a single drink, or food item. I AM SUPERWOMAN! We packed along water bottles, and had eaten lunch beforehand, soooooo they knew, NO FOOD while there. And, they listened. WOW!
After we got home, the boy ran wild in the backyard, followed Daddy as he picked up doggy doo, eeewww! One day we were in the backyard, and the boy was trying to do as Daddy does, picking up doggy doo, took the play dust pan, tried to scoop the poop, but it was not cooperating and before I could get to him, he decided just to pick up the poop by hand and place it on the play dust pan! I was so disgusted! Immediate rush to wash hands!
Anyway...Drew and I practiced playing wiffle ball, (is that how you spell it?). Grace is at Gma's, so it is so quiet here, and I miss my helper already. But, I am getting tired, boy and baby in bed, Drew watching a tv show, hubby on phone, I think I'll get ready for bed, and go watch some tv too!
